Arti Avant-Garde

Arti Pararojë ose Arti Avant-Gard është një lëvizje artistike dhe letrare,[1] e cila përfshin zhanret ose veprat artistike eksperimentale, radikale, jokonformiste, në lidhje me artin, kulturën dhe shoqërinë, ose artistin që i krijon. Mund të karakterizohet nga jo-tradicionalja, risia estetike dhe papranueshmëria e tyre nga publiku dhe establishmenti i kohës.[2]

Metafora ushtarake e një pararoje identifikon artistët dhe shkrimtarët, risitë e të cilëve në stil, formë dhe tema sfindon vlerësimin artistik dhe estetik të formave tradicionale të artit dhe traditat letrare të kohës së tyre; në këtë mënyrë, artistët të cilët krijuan anti-romanin dhe surrealizmin ishin në krye të kohës së tyre.[3]

Pararoja ripërcakton përkufizimin e çka pranohej deri atëherë si rregull apo ligj, kryesisht në fushën kulturore. Avant-gardizmi njihet si shenja dalluese e modernizmit, për dallim nga postmodernizmi. Shumë artistë i janë bashkangjitur lëvizjes pararojë dhe ende vazhdojnë ta bëjnë këtë, duke lënë gjurmë prej Dadaizmit, tek Situacionizmi dhe artistët postmodernistë si "Language Poets" rreth vitit 1981.[4]

Si shtresë e Inteligjencisë së shoqërisë, artistët pararojë promovojnë politika progresive dhe radikale dhe mbrojnë reformat shoqërore me dhe nëpërmjet veprave të artit. Vetë termi "pararojë" u përdor për herë të parë në vitin 1825 nga Saint Simonian, Benjamin Olinde Rodriguez në esenë "L'Artiste, le savant el l'industriel" (Artisti, shkencëtari dhe industrialisti) ku iu bën thirrje artistëve që "të shërbejnë si pararoja të popullit", duke insistuar se "fuqia e artit është vërtetë mënyra më e shpejtë për reformën sociale, politike dhe ekonomike.[5]

Fillesat e Avant-Gardizmit

Kjo lëvizje e artit mund të thuhet se i ka fillesat rreth vitit 1850, me realizmin e Gustave Courbet, i cili ishte ndikuar nga idetë e hershme socialiste. Artistët pararojë shfaqën një lloj rebelizmi që do të kishte ndikim në një shekull të tërë dhe pothuajse gjysmën e lëvizjeve të artit dhe artistëve pavarsisht nga përqeshjet e vazhdueshme që morën nga elita e artistëve të asaj kohe.[6] Disa lëvizje avant-gardiste si kubizmi janë fokusuar kryesisht në studimin e formave, ndërsa të tjerat si futurizmi, De Stijl ose Surrealizmi kanë pasur mënyra të forta të zhvillimit social.[7] Lëvizjet e tjera të cilat u përfshinë në artin Avant-garde ishin:
