Birgita Bremer (17 janar 1950) është botaniste, akademike suedeze, profesoreshë në Universitetin e Stokholmit e drejtoreshë e Kopshtit Botanik Bergius. [1]

Birgita u doktorua në botanikë në vitin 1980 në Universitetin e Stokholmit, me tezën "Taksonomia e myshqeve të gjinisë Schistidium". [2] Në vitin 1981, u emërua docente në Universitetin e Stokholmit; 1983–1990 ishte instruktore e sistematikës. Nga 1990-a deri në 2000-shin punoi si instruktore sistematike e botanikës; në vitet 2000–2001 punoi si dekane e departamentit të sistematikës; 2000–2004 – profesore e sistematikës molekulare të bimëve. Që nga viti 2002 është drejtoreshë e Fondit Bergius dhe drejtoreshë e Kopshtit Botanik. [3] Që nga viti 2004 është profesoreshë e sistematikës në Universitetin e Stokholmit.

Ajo është e martuar me Kare Bremer dhe kanë dy fëmijë.

Më 11 shkurt 2009 Profesor Bremer, Profesor Bergianus në Fondacionin Bergius, Akademia Mbretërore Suedeze e Shkencave, u zgjodh anëtare i Akademisë Mbretërore Suedeze të Shkencave ( Kungliga Vetenskapsakademien, KVA). [4]
