The Lexicon Tetraglosson dictionary of four Balkan languages (Greek, Aromanian, Bulgarian and Albanian) written by Daniel Moscopolites

Dhanil Voskopojari ose Danieli i Voskopojës (1754–1825; ^[1]^[2] ^[3] ), i njohur gjithashtu si Dhanil Adam Haxhiu, ishte një studiues voskopojar dhe student i Theodoros Kavalliotis, një profesor i shekullit të 18/19 dhe drejtor i Akademisë së Re të Voskopojës.

Dhanieli sipas ishte një voskopojar ^[4] ^[5] që është përshkruar si i helenizuar . ^[6] Në këtë periudhë, Voskopoja ishte një qytet i rëndësishëm ballkanik, qendra kulturore dhe tregtare e arumunëve dhe vendi i shtypshkronjës së parë që punonte në Ballkan.

Dhanieli, në veprën e tij Εισαγωγική Διδασκαλία ("Mësime hyrëse"), përpiloi një fjalor të kombinuar të hjuhës shqipe ( alvanitika ), greqishtes ( Romaika ), arumunishtes ( vlachika ) dhe bullgarishtës ( vulgarika ). Danieli ftoi folësit jogrekë me këtë fjalor për të mësuar gjuhën greke:

Shqiptarë, vllehë, bullgarë, folës të gjuhëve të tjera, gëzohuni dhe përgatituni të gjithë të bëheni grekë (Romioi), duke lënë gjuhën, zërin dhe zakonet barbare, që pasardhësve tuaj do të duken si mite. ^[7]

Pavarësisht promovimit të gjuhës greke, arumunishtja ishte gjuha amtare e Danielit. Për më tepër, sipas studiuesit bullgar Aleksandër Niçev, ai nuk e dinte shumë mirë greqishten. ^[5]

Në vitin 1794, ai botoi në Venecia ^[8] një fjalor të katër gjuhëve moderne ballkanike (shqip, greqisht, arumune dhe bullgarisht). Shumë autorë të mëvonshëm i botuan veprat e tij në shqip, greqisht dhe në arumunisht me alfabetin grek . Me veprën e tij leksikografike, Danieli shpresonte të bindte shqiptarët, arumunët dhe bullgarët që të braktisnin gjuhët e tyre "barbare" ^[9] dhe të mësonin greqishten, "nënën e dijes". Libri u ribotua në vitin 1802 në Dubrovnik ^[10] ose në Venecia . ^[11]
