Shkencologjia

Kryqi i Shkencologji-së në një ndërtesë të Kishës së Shkencologji-së.

Shkencologjia është një grup besimesh dhe praktikash të krijuara nga autori amerikan L. Ron Hubbard. Hubbard fillimisht i paraqiti idetë e tij në vitin 1950 si një formë terapie me biseda të quajtur Dianetikë. Më vonë ai i zgjeroi dhe i riformuloi këto ide si një fe, të cilën e quajti Shkencologji. Në vitin 1953 ai themeloi Kishën e Shkencologjisë, e cila sipas një vlerësimi të vitit 2014 e kishte matur atë në rreth 30,000 anëtarë.

Përmbledhje

Një besim thelbësor i Shkencologjisë është se ngjarjet traumatike shkaktojnë regjistrime të ngjashme me komandat nënndërgjegjeshëm në mendje, të cilat mund të kenë ndodhur në jetët e kaluara dhe të cilat mund të lehtësohen vetëm përmes një aktiviteti të quajtur "auditim". Auditimi dhe trajnimi për auditim janë dy aktivitetet kryesore në një organizatë të Shkencologjisë dhe përshkruhen në një tabelë të strukturuar progresioni të quajtur Ura drejt Lirisë Totale, me dy nivelet kryesore të arritjes që janë statusi i "Pastrimit" (qëllimi i Dianetikës origjinale) dhe "Tetani Operativ" (versioni i Shkencologjisë për lirinë shpirtërore). Tarifat ngarkohen për auditimin dhe trajnimin.

Mësimet e nivelit të lartë të niveleve të Tetanit Operativ konsiderohen konfidenciale dhe u zbulohen vetëm Scientologëve kur ata arrijnë çdo nivel. Tekstet, të cilat përfshijnë një rrëfim kozmologjik të jetës së kaluar, janë zbuluar dhe publikuar, pavarësisht se Kisha e Scientology ka ngritur padi për t'i mbajtur ato konfidenciale.

Kisha është përfshirë në polemika të shumta, mosmarrëveshje ligjore dhe madje edhe dënime penale. Është përshkruar në mënyra të ndryshme si fe, sekt, biznes dhe mashtrim. Scientology klasifikohet ndryshe në të gjithë botën, me disa vende që i japin asaj status fetar, ndërsa të tjera e trajtojnë atë si një sistem besimi jofetar, një ndërmarrje tregtare ose një aktivitet të dyshimtë që i nënshtrohet monitorimit qeveritar. Praktikat dhe lidershipi i saj kanë qenë objekt i raportimit të vazhdueshëm hetimor, studimit akademik, pyetjeve qeveritare dhe portretizimeve të njohura mediatike.
