Svenska: Slätborrad pipa av blånerat stål med repeterkonstruktion, förstocksrörelse. På pipan stämplat: 12 samt: "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. // NEW HAVEN CONN.U.S.A. PAT.NOV.25.90. DEC.6.92. JULY 21.96. FEB.22.98. JUNE.14.98. OCT. 16.1900" , på v. sida "FULL", på pipans undersida: VP i oval, 1 i triangel. På pipans undersida blånerat magasin, därpå trätt rörlig förstock av valnöt med glest inskurna band. På v. sida blånerad pattronutkastare, stämplad på utsidan: "WINCHESTER // MODELL 1897". På undersidan av pip- och magasinshållaren baktill stämplat tillverkningsnr: 160272. På främre hållaren ring för bärrem. Slät, blånerad låda, framtillstämplat: c // 160272.
