Curtis James Jackson III (sqt: Kërtis Xheims Xhekson III) lindi më 6 korrik 1975 në New York. Ai njihet gjithashtu si 50 Cent edhe është një i famshëm rapper amerikan, këngëtar edhe i grupit G-Unit.

50 Cent ka publikuar deri tani 3 albume (Get Rich or Die Tryin' e The Massacre)(Curtis)dhe te tre albumet kishin sukses multi-platin, duke shitur me shume se 21 milione kopje ne kombinim.


Jeta e hershme

50 Cent, i lindur Curtis James Jackson III, u rrit ne lagjen e Xhamajkas Jugore ne Queens ne New York City. Ai u rrit pa baba dhe u perkujdes nga nena e tij Sabrina Jackson, e cila e lindi ate kur ajo i kishte 15 vjetë. Sabrina qe ishte nje dilere e kokaines u perkujdes per Jackson deri sa ai i mbushi 8 vjet,kur ajo u vra.Ne ate kohë ajo i kishte 23 vjet dhe e humbi vetëdijen kur dikush i hudhi drogë ne pijen e saj. Ajo pastaj u la si e vdekur ne banesen e saj pasi qe dikush e kishte lene gazin te leshuar dhe dritaret i kishte mbyllur. Pas vdekjes se saj Jacksoni shkoi ne shtepin e gjyshit ku jetonin edhe 8 hallat dhe dajet e tij.

Ai e kujton "Gjyshja ime me thoshte, 'Nena jote nuk do te vij ne shtepi. Ajo nuk do te kthehet te te marre. Ti do te rrish me neve'. Vetem atehere une fillova qe te mesohesha pakez me rruget." Jacksoni u rrit me kusheririn e tij me te ri Michael Francis, i cili e fitoi pseudonimin "25 Cent" pasi qe ishte shoku i ti me i ri.Francisi ben rap me emrin artistik "Two Five".
