DON'T

1. Do not change the text {{New unreviewed article|date={{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}}}. Don't worry if it makes no sense to you. This is needed!
2. Don't forget that if you're actually not quite ready, a userspace draft is the better option. Copy the text you have already written below, press the back button in your browser, choose the userspace draft option, and paste the text there.

DO

1. Replace New article name with the name of the article, leaving the ' ' ' format marks intact.
2. Place the text of your article in the blank area as directed.
   • Use your own words. Do not copy-paste text from other websites.
   • However you may wish to find a similar Wikipedia article to examine its wikitext for guidance on layout, style and type of content
3. Provide your sources.
   • All articles must cite at least one published, specific, third-party source for the information, such as a book or a page on a reputable website. Please provide a URL or link if you wish to use an internet source. We must be able to verify your source - sources such as Google or "personal knowledge" are not acceptable. Articles without sources may be deleted by other Wikipedians.
   • If possible use the <ref></ref> format explained in Wikipedia:Footnotes to cite specific claims in the text. Those citations will appear automatically as footnotes in the References section.
   • Alternatively, just write your sources into the article, or in the reference section, any way you can - as long as the sources are there, someone more experienced will be able to fix the formatting.
4. If you don't have a relevant "external link" (i.e. a webpage outside Wikipedia) to add, delete the External links section. If you do, use it to replace the example shown.
5. Click the Save page button (below the editing box) when you are finished. Your article will be live immediately for the whole world to see! Thank you for your submission. Bear in mind that Wikipedia articles are never finished and do come back another day and see if you can improve it.
