Sylë Ukshini, PhD, is a Professor at the “Kadri Zeka”University in Gjilan, Kosovo. He has served as a Chargé d’Affaires/Head of mission at the Embassy of Kosovo in Albania. He holds a PhD in European Integration from the University of Bremen in Germany. He has also obtained a doctorate in History from the University of Tirana. His research focuses on the role of EU policies in Kosovo and the Western Balkans, as well as Albanian national history during the Ottoman period and the post-Cold War era. Dr. Ukshini is the author of numerous publications and studies in local, regional, and international journals, notably, in 2021, he published in Germany (LIT Verlag) the book titled “Die Kosovo-Frage als Herausforderung der Gemeinsamen Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik (GASP) der EU”.
