Ismail Ferraj

Ismail Ferraj was born in 2002 in the city of Vlora, Albania.

He is a painting artist and a former local political candidate as well as a prominent political activist in public life.

After graduating from the "Ismail Qemali" primary school in his birthplace, he attended secondary education at the "Naim Frashëri" Art School for painting, to continue and currently in higher studies at the University of Arts for painting at FAB (Faculty of Fine Arts). in Tirana.

In Ismail Ferraj's creative life as a painter, we find him on works of art that combine the genre of abstraction and objective realism, which make him a unique artist where he lets suggestive objective effects flow based on certain logistical levels.

Ismail Ferraj's artwork is often expressed in different materials besides the traditional one, and the art itself and the colors often go beyond the interlaced realism to lean towards contemporary abstraction.

Ismail Ferraj is also a political activist of social life in Albania, as a representative of the Democratic Party of Albania he for the first time ran for the Municipal Council, Municipality of Vlorë in the local elections of May 2023, held in the Republic of Albania, making his debut his political career as the youngest candidate for public office under the banner of the Democratic Party of Albania, the main opposition party in the country.

Starting after the local elections, Ferraj is involved in the internal organization of the Democratic Party, of the right-wing spectrum in Albania, first as a candidate for the National Council of the Democratic Party, and more recently as a representative and member of the leadership of the Democratic Party in the Vlorë branch.

Ismail Ferraj is considered one of the key representatives of the new and promising generation of the Albanian Opposition and the country!
