Blerim Kamberi është profesor i rregullt në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë - Dega e Stomatologjisë në Universitetin e Prishtinës “Hasan Prishtina“. I lindur në vitin 1963 në Gjilan[1]. Shkollën fillore dhe shkollën e mesme i ka përfunduar në Gjilan dhe Prishtinë. Ka diplomuar në fakultetin e Mjekësisë-Seksioni i Stomatologjisë në Prishtinë në vitin 1988.

Karriera

Pas kryerjes së stazhit të mjekut praktikant, është punësuar në Seksionin e Stomatologjisë në Prishtinë në vitin 1988 e deri më sot, punon në Qendrën Klinike Stomatologjike [2] Universitare të Kosovës. Në vitin 1989 është zgjedhur asistent praktikant në lëndën Sëmundjet e dhëmbit. Studimet specialistike i ka filluar në vitin 1994, ndërsa i ka përfunduar në vitin 2000 në Prishtinë. Në vitin 1997 zgjedhet në thirrjen akademike të asistentit në lëndën Sëmundjet e dhëmbit. Punimin e magjistraturës me titull “Tretmani i dhëmbëve me ndryshime periapikale në një séancë“ e ka mbrojtur në vitin 2000 në fakultetin e Mjekësisë dhe me këtë mori titullin magjistër i shkencave të mjekësisë[3].

Në vitin 2002 zgjedhet në thirrjen akademike të ligjeruesit për lëndën Sëmundjet e dhëmbit. Disertacionin e doktoraturës me titull “Identifikimi i metaleve të rënda në strukturat e forta të dhëmbit“ e ka mbrojtur në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë në vitin 2005 dhe me këtë mori titullin doktor i shkencave të mjekësisë. Në vitin 2007 zgjedhet në thirrjen akademike Profesor Asistent për lëndën Sëmundjet e dhëmbit me Endodoncion. Në vitin 2012 zgjedhet në thirrjen akademike Profesor i Asociuar për lëndën Sëmundjet e dhëmbit me Endodoncion.

Në vitin 2017 zgjedhet në thirrjen akademike Profesor i Rregullt për lëndën Sëmundjet e dhëmbit me Endodoncion.

Në revista dhe sesione shkencore ka të publikuara dhe të kumtuara 97 punime, të cilat janë të publikuara në bazat akademike Web of Science (Thomson Reuters), Scopus (Elsevier), Medline, Index medicus, Science citation index expanded, PubMed e tj). Është autor i monografisë “Dhëmbët si tregues biologjik i ndotjes së mjedisit me metale të rënda” dhe Redaktor i botimit në gjuhë shqipe të librit Endodoncia: parimet dhe praktika (Endodontics: Principles and Practice, 4th Edition).
