Chartered President of Rotary Club Peja, 2006-2007 The first Rotary Club in Kosova


Neshad Asllani is a M.D. He had the opportunity to start something new and for the first time in Kosova. He started the first private clinic in Kosova in1990. In 1995 for the first time he has introduced to Kosovars the advanced diagnostic system, Computed Tomography Scanner. He is the founder and the executive director of the Kosova Center for Human Rights, in 2000. After the war he initiated group that led to the admission of Kosova to Rotary International, November 5, 2005 and charter of the Rotary Club Peja, June 30, 2006. Neshad has a very good cooperation with many international organizations and institutions worldwide. He has documented human rights violations in Kosovo, documented war crimes and identification of war victims, implement HRE project supported from UNESCO, Promote Health, Human Rights and Ethics in cooperation with Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) and Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH), and to gether with Satu Honkala, is a co-author of the book “Kosovar Steps for HRE”, published in Albanian and Bosnian.
