Biografia
[Redakto | Redakto nëpërmjet kodit]Fletcher ka lindur në Birmingham, të Alabamas, e dyta nga katër fëmijëve të Estelle Caldwell dhe Reverend Robert kaperi Fleçer, një prift Episkopale nga Arab, Alabama. Të dy prindërit e saj ishin të shurdhër dhe ka punuar me seancën e hard-e-shurdhër,[1] Fletcher's father founded more than 40 churches for the deaf in Alabama.[2] ndërsa babai i Fletcher ka themeluar më shumë se 40 kisha për të shurdhër në Alabama. Vëllezërit e motrat e Fletcher, Roberta, John dhe Georgianna, ishin të gjithë të lindur pa asnjë humbje të dëgjimit; ajo ishte mësuar të flasë nga një hallë e dëgjimit, i cili gjithashtu paraqiti atë për të vepruar.
