Ardi II ishte mbreti i dytë i dinastisë Mermnad, i biri i mbretit Gigas të Lidisë. Ai u pasua nga i biri i tij, Sadiati. Sipas traditës lidiane, ai ishte i 27-ti.^[1]

Ardi II sulmoi qytetin grek Miletus dhe ishte i suksesshëm në kapjen e qytetit të Prienes^[2]. Shumica e regjimeve të tij ishin humbur nga luftërat kundër Kimerëve, të cilët gati pushtuan tërësisht qytetin e Sardës në një sulm të vetëm.^[3]
