Peanuts
Peanuts është një novelë grafike e shkruar dhe ilustruar nga Charles M. Schulz, e përditshme që prej 2 tetor 1950 deri më 13 shkurt 2000. Kjo novelë është më popullorja dhe novela më me ndikim në histori, me 17,897 ndodhi[1], duke e klasifikuar si historinë më të gjatë të treguar nga një njeri[2]. Në kulmin e suksesit, Peanuts u botua në mbi 2,600 gazeta, me 355 milion lexues në 75 vende të ndryshme të botës dhe përkthyer në 21 gjuhë, që i siguroi Schulz-it 1 miliardë dollarë[3]. Ende sot e kësaj dite, novela vazhdon të botohet në gazeta të ndryshme në Shtetet e Bashkuara.
Novela fokusohet tërësisht në një grup fëmijësh të vegjël, pa personazhe të rritur. Personazhi kryesor është Charlie Brown, i cili është një fëmijë zemërbutë, nervoz dhe me mungesë besimi në vetvete. Ai nuk është në gjendje të fluturojë një balonë, të fitojë një ndeshje bejsbolli apo të gjuajë një top futbolli.[4]
Peanuts arriti sukses të konsiderueshëm pas shfaqjeve speciale në televizion, disa prej të cilave, duke përfshirë A Charlie Brown Christmas dhe It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown kanë fituar ose janë nominuar për Emmy Awards. Shfaqja speciale për festat e fundvitit vazhdon të mbetet mjaft popullore dhe vazhdon të transmetohet nga ABC në Shtetet e Bashkuara gjatë sezonit korrespondues.
