Alison Uttley (17 dhjetor 1884 - 7 maj 1976), znj. Alice Jane Taylor, ishte një shkrimtare britanike me mbi 100 libra. Jeta

Lindur në Cromford dhe e rritur në Derbyshire rurale, ajo u shkollua në Shkollën Lea në Holloway dhe në Shkollën Lady Manners në Bakewell, ku ajo zhvilloi një dashuri për shkencën që çoi në një bursë për Universitetin e Mançesterit për të studiuar fizikën.
