David Crystal, OBE, FBA, FLSW, FCIL (lindur më 6 korrik 1941) është një gjuhëtar britanik që punon në gjuhësinë e gjuhës angleze.[1]

Crystal ka studiuar anglisht në University College London dhe ka dhënë leksione në Universitetin Bangor dhe në Universitetin e Reading. Ai u nderua me një OBE më 1995 dhe një anëtar i Akademisë Britanike më 2000. Crystal është një ithtar i gjuhësisë së internetit dhe gjithashtu është përfshirë në prodhimet e Shekspirit, duke ofruar udhëzime për shqiptimin origjinal.[2]
