Gani Gashi was born on 27 February 1944 in Mramor of Prishtina municipality. He finished his elementary education in his birthplace and Teacher’s School in Prishtina in 1963. He completed the Academy of Fine Arts (Graphic department) and post-graduate studies in Prishtina. Since 1968 he has been working for the newspaper ”Rilindja” in Prishtina until 21 February 2002. He has been a member of the Association of Fine Arts Artists of Kosova since 1980. Now he lives and works as a free artist in Prishtina.
