Projekti i kartelave standarde, V2 dhe V3 ka për qëllim të përmirësojë pamjen, thjeshtësinë dhe fleksibilitetin e kartelave të Wikipedia-së. Interesi është që të harmonizojmë pamjen me piktograme tematike në fillim të kartelave, me një thjeshtësim të kodit dhe me një fjalë të përdorim sa më pak burime për të arritur një produkt të harmonizuar. Projekti për herë të parë është lëshuar ne wiki fr e më pas u përhap edhe në wikipediat tjera duke përfshirë këtu edhe wikipedinë shqip.
