Shintaro Katsu (Japonisht: 勝 新太郎 Katsu Shintarō, lindi Toshio Okumura më 29 nëntor 1931 – 21 qershor 1997) ishte aktorë, këngëtar, producentë dhe regjisorë japonezë.

Shintaro Katsu filloi karrierën e tij si performues i shamisen. Ai më vonë e ndërroi profesionin dhe u bë aktor. Në vitet 1960, ai luajti në tri seritë më të gjata, përfshirë në Akumyō, the Heitai Yakuza, dhe Zatoichi.
Ai luajti rolin si mazashier i verbër me emrin Zatoichi në 25 filma mes viteve 1962 dhe 1973, luajti edhe në filmin e 26-të në vitin 1989 dhe poashtu luajti katë sezone në seri televizive.[1]
Ai ishte burri i aktores Tamao Nakamura, dhe babai i aktorit Ryutaro Gan.[2]
