Mbreteria ardiane u formua ne shek .4 para Krishtit.Kjo mbretëri përbën bashkimin më të rëndësishëm politik që u formua nga ilirët.Themeluesi i saj ishte Agroni. Dinastia e tij sundoi gjatë viteve 231-168 para Krishtit. Kufijtë shtetërorë të Mbretërisë Ardiane shtriheshin nga lumi Vjosa në jug,në Dalmacinë e mesme ne veri,kurse në lindje nga trevat rreth liqenit te Ohrit e deri në bashkimin e dy drineve në Kukës.Kryeqyteti i mbretërisë ardiane ishte Shkodra
